FMS FCX24M Metal Gear Steering Servo Upgrade

Metal-gear steering servo upgrade for the FMS FCX24M, supplied with a modified proprietary FMS connector for the stock ESC/receiver combo. The output fits the stock servo saver, providing a direct-fit replacement for the original steering servo.

Direct fit to the stock electronics

This supplied version has already been modified with the FMS proprietary connector, so it connects to the stock FCX24M ESC/receiver combo without requiring the customer to change the servo connector. It is configured to work with the stock servo saver.

The FCX24M version has its own housing and fitment. For FCX18 or FCX24 models, choose the FCX18 / FCX24 upgrade servo.

Metal-gear upgrade

The metal gear train and metal output spline replace the plastic gear/output arrangement shown on the original servo. The supplier comparison specifies ≥0.85kgf·cm torque at 6.0V for the upgrade and ≥0.6kgf·cm at 6.0V for the stock servo. These are supplier figures shown in the comparison image.

Installation

Install in the original servo position, connect to the stock FMS ESC/receiver combo and transfer the stock servo saver. Centre the steering before fitting the saver, then check steering travel so the linkage moves freely.
