Expertise Performance Lighting Kit for TRX-4M Defender

Add working headlights, tail lights and driving-linked lighting effects to your Traxxas TRX-4M Defender with this Expertise Performance lighting kit. The kit combines Defender-specific wired light assemblies with a compact controller for configurable indicators, brake lights, reverse lights and hazard functions.

Key features

• Realistic lighting: headlight, front fog light, marker light and tail light functions, as demonstrated in the product video.
• Steering-linked indicators: turn signals respond to steering input, with selectable sensitivity settings.
• Brake and reverse lighting: driving-linked effects with selectable brake-light brightness and an optional flashing brake-light mode.
• Hazard functions: manually switch the hazard lights on or enable automatic hazards after the vehicle has stopped for 30 seconds.
• Configurable controller: use the SET button to adjust lighting behaviour, equipment mode and signal direction, or restore factory settings.
• Two wiring options: the English guide covers the original ECM-2.5 control unit and third-party receiver setups.

Compatibility and installation

The supplied light assemblies are designed specifically for the TRX-4M Defender body. Choose the wiring diagram and controller mode that match your electronics. Lighting controls differ between the original equipment and third-party receiver setups; the latter uses a receiver channel switch for the lighting functions.
